In today’s information-rich age, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed when seeking to learn more about Christianity. With countless churches, websites, podcasts, books, videos, and other resources available, discerning where to begin can be challenging. We have carefully reviewed a wide range of materials and curated a selection of trustworthy resources that have proven valuable in our own daily Christian walk. Our goal is to point you in the right direction. Through consistent Bible study, prayer for God’s guidance, and the support of solid biblical teachers, you can establish a strong foundation for a lifelong pursuit of knowing and growing in God.
Finding a church is relatively easy, but identifying a biblically sound church requires careful discernment. In an era filled with churches that promote incorrect or misleading teachings, it is essential to exercise caution. We strongly recommend that you first listen to teachings from the videos and podcasts on our Suggested Sites and carefully read the Doctrine PDF by Charlie Garrett before beginning your search for a local church. Take your time in this process. Do not rush into joining a church without first gaining a solid understanding of basic biblical doctrines and core scriptural truths. Only after building a firm foundation in God’s Word should you begin looking for a church that aligns faithfully with biblical truth.
We conducted a thorough review of the most frequently asked questions by new Christians across the internet. In this section, we provide clear and concise answers to the 20 most common questions asked by new believers. These responses are not intended to be exhaustive, but serve as a helpful starting point for understanding foundational aspects of Christianity. For deeper biblical teaching and more comprehensive explanations, we encourage you to explore the trusted resources listed on our Suggested Sites. If you have additional questions, please feel free to submit them through our contact form. We will respond as promptly and helpfully as possible.
Reading your Bible daily is the single most important practice in your Christian life. The Bible is God’s Word to us — it contains everything He wants us to know about Him, His character, His will, and His plan for our lives. It is essential that you never fully trust what any preacher, teacher, or podcaster says without personally verifying it against Scripture. Developing this skill begins with regular time in God’s Word. Reading for just 30 minutes each day will take you through the entire Bible approximately twice a year. Once you finish, begin again — and again. Make it a lifelong habit. We also recommend reading the Bible in several different translations. As you continue in consistent, prayerful study, you will grow in spiritual discernment and soon be able to distinguish sound teaching from poor teaching. This foundation will lead to a far richer and more fruitful Christian walk.

When we created this website, we intentionally limited our recommended resources to a small group of trusted teachers who remain faithful to Scripture. In this section, you will find links to commentaries, videos, and podcasts from three outstanding Bible teachers.
Charlie Garrett of The Superior Word Church has produced an extensive collection of verse-by-verse Bible commentaries, all available for free download. We recommend beginning with his commentary on Genesis, along with his clear and helpful Doctrine PDF.
Les Feldick was a gifted television Bible teacher who taught through the entire Bible. His ministry provides an excellent big-picture overview of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation while presenting solid, book-by-book doctrine.
Dr. J. Vernon McGee is a beloved Bible teacher whose ministry has touched countless lives around the world. We have included links to his “Through the Bible” podcasts and website, where you can access his warm, insightful, and reliable teaching that has been broadcast globally for decades.

The Christian faith includes many specialized terms that can sometimes feel confusing or even nonsensical to new believers. In this section, we have selected 50 of the most commonly used terms in Christian teaching, preaching, and Bible studies. Each term is accompanied by a brief, clear definition to help you understand its meaning and significance. While this is not an exhaustive list — Scripture contains many more theological terms — we believe these 50 will provide a strong foundation for your understanding. If you encounter a term not included here that you would like explained, please feel free to ask us through our contact form. We will do our best to provide a helpful answer. The three trusted teachers featured in our Suggested Sites also offer reliable, in-depth explanations for these and many other biblical terms.
